Neal and Karrie Bongard are your
hosts and owner operators of this luxury catamaran.
They left their corporate jobs in the United States
to fulfill their dreams of sailing. After years in
management they thought it might be more fun entertaining
people than managing them and decided that chartering
their boat would be just the way to do it.
They relocated to the beautiful Grenadines to run
their charter business and quit the hectic pace of
life that was theirs before.
They are both American Sailing Association (ASA)
certified captains. Neal’s mechanical background and
skills ensure a well maintained vessel. Karrie’s love
of cooking guarantees meals to be both delicious and
beautifully presented.
They have the desire to show people what they live
every day – to let others know and see how stunning
the Grenadine Islands are. They will show you their
secret spots and know you will love and appreciate
the sights and people as much as they do.
With extensive knowledge of St Vincent and the Grenadines
- one of the finest sailing grounds in the world -
their aim is to give you one of the best holiday experiences
you have ever had.
“48 Marbles” – Neal and Karrie’s first catamaran
was destroyed in Grenada in Hurricane Ivan in September
2004. Not being deterred they found a matching sister
yacht to 48 Marbles and christened her “Lost Our Marbles”
and were back sailing and chartering by November 2004.
